Starting from the last period of the Ottoman Empire, he increased his knowledge and produced research on the History of the Republic of Turkey and especially the early Republican period;

To increase their knowledge about the political, social, economic and cultural developments of modern Turkish history;

Gaining critical and analytical thinking skills and carrying this skill to their own research areas;

To be able to carry out their studies openly to the contributions of different disciplines,

As people who are open to democratic participation, civic consciousness and responsibility, they can evaluate the history of modern Turkey and current issues within the framework of their knowledge;

It is aimed to train them as individuals who have scientific research knowledge and experience, who have gained professional formation, who can express their thoughts effectively and who can express them in writing by taking into account the academic ethical rules.
