Our department teaches Atatürk`s Principles and Revolution History course, which is taught in Faculties and Schools of Çankırı Karatekin University in accordance with paragraph I of Article 5 of the Law No. 2547. Our lecturers, İsmail KALAYCI, Engin DENİZ and İsa YILDIRIM, have master`s degrees; Ebubekir KEKLİK completed his doktorate studies.

     As it is known, the Turkish revolution was realized with the genius of Atatürk, the understanding and sacrifice of our nation. The aim of the Atatürk`s Principles and Revolution History course cannot be abstracted from the general aim and target of history. The aim of this course is to teach the conditions and how independence was born and developed, the foundation of the modern Turkish Republic and the reforms made under the leadership of the great leader Atatürk on the way to modernization of our nation and its principles.
